Fatal Houston car crash death of Reem Musallam – Obituary

Reem Musallam, a 37-year-old woman from Houston, tragically died following a severe crash that occurred last week in southwest Houston.

The Houston Police Department reported the accident happened on Thursday, June 5, around 2:10 p.m. at 9200 Fondren Road. Authorities said a white Honda Accord and a white Ford pickup were both traveling southbound at high speeds. When the Honda changed lanes into the path of the Ford, the two vehicles collided.

 

After the impact, both vehicles veered off the road, crashing into street signs, power poles, and trees before coming to rest. The drivers of both vehicles, both men, were taken to the hospital and survived with injuries. Musallam, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was critically injured and later passed away at the hospital.

 

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash.
