Fatal Lancaster motorcycle crash death of Ryan Churgin – Obituary
Ryan Churgin, a 22-year-old motorcyclist, lost his life in a tragic collision with a vehicle in Lancaster on Friday night, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The incident took place at about 9:14 p.m. as Churgin was traveling southbound on 30th Street West. When he entered the intersection at Avenue G, his motorcycle crashed into a white sedan that was heading west, authorities said.
Churgin was rushed to Antelope Valley Hospital following the crash but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Detective Jorge Diaz from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated that the investigation into the collision is ongoing. It remains unknown at this time whether speeding or intoxication contributed to the accident.
