Fatal Phelan big rig crash death of Aaron Graham – Obituary

Aaron Graham, 37, from Palmdale, passed away following a collision involving his SUV and a large truck in Phelan, California. The crash happened late in the evening on June 5, 2025, around 10:05 p.m. on eastbound Highway 138 near Gramercy Road. Graham was driving a BMW X7 when he struck the rear of a Freightliner tractor-trailer.

He was found unconscious inside his vehicle and taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he died two days later on June 7. Authorities report that the truck driver left the scene but was soon located nearby on Hess Road. Neither the truck driver nor a passenger sustained injuries.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident as a potential hit-and-run. No arrests have been made yet, and intoxication is not considered a factor. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Officer E. Reed at the CHP Victorville Area Office.
