Fatal Northfield Center Township shooting death of Angela Jones and Jerodd Jones – Obituary

Angela Jones, 48, and Jerodd Jones, 48, were both found dead following a shooting incident on June 6 in Northfield Center Township, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s office. The event is being treated as a homicide-suicide, officials confirmed.

Authorities from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, along with Macedonia and Boston Heights police, responded to a call around 11 a.m. on Meadow Brooke Way, where both Angela and Jerodd were discovered with gunshot wounds. Angela was declared dead at the scene, while Jerodd was transported to Summa Health with a self-inflicted injury but later died at the hospital.

A juvenile female who was present in the home was unharmed and placed in the care of Summit County Children Services. The investigation remains open as officials continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
