Brandon Lemon dies in fatal Dover pedestrian crash
Fatal Dover pedestrian crash death of Brandon Lemon – Obituary
Brandon Lemon, 39, of Dover, was fatally struck while walking along the Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway early on June 10. The Delaware State Police reported that shortly before 2:30 a.m., a Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound in the right lane hit Lemon, who was crossing in the vehicle’s path near White Oak Road. Lemon was wearing dark clothing without reflective elements and was not carrying a light at the time of the accident.
The Jeep’s driver, a 63-year-old man from Berlin, Maryland, was unharmed in the collision. Authorities from the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate the crash. They have urged any witnesses to come forward with information by contacting Master Corporal W. Booth or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
