Brian L. Young, 63, from Andover, was identified as the driver who lost his life early Monday morning in a single-vehicle accident in Salisbury. At approximately 3:30 a.m., authorities received a report of a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado that had collided with a tree on North Road, with the driver found unconscious. Responding units from the Salisbury Fire Department, New Hampshire State Police, and Penacook Rescue Squad arrived on the scene, where firefighters confirmed that Young had died.

Salisbury, which relies on state law enforcement for policing, had no local officers on site. North Road, where the crash occurred, branches off Route 127 and passes through a mix of wooded and agricultural areas on the way to Andover. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
