Fatal Puyallup River drowning death of Enrique Aviles – Obituary
Enrique Aviles, 39, was found dead in the Puyallup River last month after being reported missing earlier in April.
According to the Puyallup Police Department, Aviles had been the subject of an active missing persons case since April 5, when a witness reported seeing him fall into the river in the early morning hours.
On May 27, fishermen spotted a body drifting near 66th Avenue East on North Levee Road East, which was recovered by Central Pierce Fire & Rescue teams. Authorities have stated that foul play is not suspected in Aviles’ death.
