Authorities have identified the man who died in a stabbing incident Friday evening in Port Aransas as 30-year-old Kaiser Jones. The Nueces County Medical Examiner confirmed his identity following the deadly altercation.

 

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Port Aransas police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 600 block of Sandy Lane. Upon arrival, officers found two men from San Antonio suffering from stab wounds.

 

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. The second individual, a 28-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Corpus Christi for emergency care.

 

Preliminary findings from the investigation suggest the two men were involved in a violent confrontation that escalated into mutual stabbing. No further details have been released regarding the surviving man’s condition or potential charges as the investigation continues.
