Fatal Wythe County car crash death of Kayla M. Will – Obituary

A tragic accident in Wythe County claimed the life of 41-year-old Kayla M. Will of New Windsor, Maryland. The crash occurred Monday evening, June 9, on the northbound side of Interstate 81 near mile marker 85.

According to Virginia State Police, Will was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche when the vehicle veered off the left side of the highway, collided with a guardrail, and overturned. Authorities say she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was thrown from the vehicle.

Will was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The incident remains under investigation.
