Marco A. Salerno dies in fatal Floyd, New York car crash
Fatal Floyd, New York car crash death of Marco A. Salerno – Obituary
Marco A. Salerno, a 20-year-old resident of Utica, lost his life in a single-vehicle crash on Route 49 in Floyd on the morning of Friday, June 6, according to New York State Police.
Authorities say Salerno was traveling eastbound around 10:30 a.m. when his vehicle veered off the south side of the roadway and struck a tree. He was alone in the car at the time of the accident and was ejected during the crash.
Salerno was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
