Fatal San Antonio shooting death of Marcus Estrada – Obituary

Marcus Estrada, 20, lost his life after being shot while driving on the far west side of San Antonio, causing his vehicle to slowly collide with a nearby home. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later declared dead.

Authorities were called to the 300 block of Otter Drive, near Loop 410 and Highway 90, after a homeowner reported a loud noise and discovered that a vehicle had struck the house. Inside the car, officers found Estrada suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to SAPD Sgt. Travis Gourley, investigators believe the shooting may not have been random, suggesting the suspects may have had a prior connection to Estrada. Surveillance video captured three young individuals fleeing the scene, and police are still working to identify and locate them.

The vehicle, which had at least two visible bullet holes, rolled into the home at low speed and caused only minor damage. The investigation remains active as officials continue their search for the suspects involved.
