Fatal Pine Bluff house fire death of Sandra Townsend – Obituary

A devastating blaze broke out in the early hours of Monday in Pine Bluff, resulting in the death of 68-year-old Sandra Townsend.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 1307 S. Cypress Street at 3:04 a.m. following reports that someone might be trapped inside the residence.

Sandra Townsend, who was born on February 16, 1956, was found deceased within the home. Authorities have transferred her remains to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further evaluation. The cause of the fire is still under active investigation.
