Fatal Las Vegas Strip shooting death of Tanisha Finley and Rodney Finley – Obituary

Tanisha Finley, 43, and Rodney Finley, 44, tragically lost their lives Sunday night in a shooting on the Las Vegas Strip, according to the Clark County Coroner. Both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were declared dead at the scene.

The suspect, 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz, surrendered to Henderson Police the following day and was charged with two counts of murder with a deadly weapon. Ruiz appeared in court Tuesday morning and was ordered held without bail, with a return hearing set for Thursday.

Authorities revealed that the suspect and victims had an ongoing dispute on social media prior to the shooting. Officers patrolling the Strip heard gunfire around 10:40 p.m. Sunday and discovered the victims lying on the sidewalk. The investigation is ongoing.
