Tony Epps faces murder charges in fatal Sedgwick County crash

Fatal Sedgwick County crash death of Rockney G. Lindemann – Obituary

Tony Epps, 29, has been charged with second-degree murder and driving with a suspended license in connection to a deadly two-vehicle collision that took place near the intersection of Maple and Osage in Sedgwick County in March.

The crash claimed the life of 72-year-old Rockney G. Lindemann, who was pronounced dead at the scene after first responders attempted lifesaving measures.

 

Epps suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized following the accident. He was later booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on June 3 but has since been released on bond. The Wichita Police Department’s Critical Accident Team and follow-up investigators continue to review the case as it moves forward in the legal system.
