Wyman Kemble, a 40-year-old man from Milwaukee, was killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash on Saturday evening while riding near the intersection of 76th Street and Florist Avenue.
According to authorities, a vehicle unexpectedly turned into Kemble’s path, causing a collision, and then fled the scene.
Kemble was less than two miles from his home when the crash happened. Friends and neighbors, including longtime friend Therese Nelson, described him as a caring individual who looked after his siblings and elderly mother.
Nelson recalled Kemble as a familiar, generous presence in the community, often seen helping with car repairs and engaging warmly with neighbors.
Known for his bright personality and festive Halloween appearances dressed as the Joker, Kemble left a lasting impact on those who knew him. His death has stirred grief and calls for accountability, with Nelson urging the driver to come forward and consider the lives affected by their actions.
