Bailey Bingham was one of the six individuals who died in a plane crash off Point Loma, California, on Sunday. The crash took place just minutes after departure from San Diego International Airport.

Investigators say the aircraft entered a steep descending turn before briefly climbing again, ultimately crashing into the Pacific Ocean in deep water.

Search teams covered 300 square miles during the 35-hour mission, recovering aircraft wreckage but suspending further recovery of the victims’ bodies due to conditions.

Bailey, who lived in Arizona’s Gila Valley, was traveling with his father and two brothers when the accident occurred.
