Cedrick Armstrong dies in fatal Downtown Los Angeles stabbing

Fatal Downtown Los Angeles stabbing death of Cedrick Armstrong – Obituary

Cedrick Armstrong, aged 46, was discovered dead early Wednesday morning on a sidewalk near the intersection of Spring and Sixth streets in downtown Los Angeles. Authorities confirmed his identity the following day.

Officers from the LAPD’s Central Division responded to reports of a man down at approximately 3:48 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Armstrong with noticeable cuts to his neck. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department declared him dead at the scene.

According to a witness, someone may have stolen items from Armstrong’s body before fleeing the area. Police cordoned off the location and began searching for more witnesses and evidence.

As of now, the official cause of Armstrong’s death has not been released.
