Fatal Perry County motorcycle crash death of Gary Leaper – Obituary

Gary Leaper, 40, of Shermans Dale, was killed in a motorcycle accident Tuesday night in Perry County, Pennsylvania.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened on Spring Road, just north of Carroll Township. Leaper was negotiating a right-hand curve when he crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a guardrail. The impact sent him down an embankment.

When authorities arrived on the scene, Leaper had already succumbed to his injuries.

Following the crash, Route 34 was temporarily shut down between Rambo Hill Road and Route 850 as officials responded to the incident. The road has since reopened.
