Fatal Hancock Park stabbing death of Gary Nelson – Obituary

Gary Nelson, 84, was found dead inside a Hancock Park home after being fatally stabbed on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Rossmore Avenue, near the Wilshire Country Club, shortly before 4 p.m.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call reporting a possible stabbing victim. Upon arrival, they discovered Nelson unresponsive within the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, investigators have not released details regarding the motive behind the attack, and no information about a suspect has been made public.
