Guillermo Serrano Jr. dies in fatal San Antonio shooting

Fatal San Antonio shooting death of Guillermo Serrano Jr. – Obituary

Guillermo Serrano Jr., 45, lost his life in a deadly shooting that occurred outside a bar on San Antonio’s North Side in the early morning hours of June 8, 2025. According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Serrano died from a gunshot wound and his death has been ruled a homicide.

Authorities responded to the Luna Bar & Lounge on San Pedro Avenue near Jackson Keller Road at approximately 5:30 a.m. after reports of a disturbance involving multiple individuals in the parking lot. Police said a group of women and two men were engaged in a fight when firearms were pulled and gunfire erupted.

Serrano was declared dead at the scene, while the second male victim succumbed to his injuries later at the hospital. The connection between the two men remains unclear, and no arrests have been made at this time.

San Antonio police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
