Fatal Birmingham car crash death of Isaac L. Summers – Obituary

Isaac L. Summers, 45, lost his life in a tragic crash late Saturday night in Birmingham, Alabama. Authorities report that Summers was driving along the 2700 block of Ensley 5 Points West Avenue when his vehicle struck a tree that had fallen into the roadway. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m.

Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Summers was pronounced dead at the scene approximately 20 minutes after the collision, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The Birmingham Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
