Jeremy Bingham died in a devastating aircraft crash near Point Loma, California, on Sunday. He was traveling with his three sons when the plane went down into the ocean shortly after takeoff from San Diego International Airport.

The twin-engine Cessna 414 experienced major difficulties in flight, with data showing an unstable altitude and heading before ultimately crashing into the sea six minutes after takeoff.

Search and recovery efforts uncovered parts of the wreckage in deep waters, but the search for victims’ remains was called off on Tuesday.

Jeremy, who lived in Arizona’s Gila Valley area, was a father to three sons, all of whom also perished in the crash.
