Ryley Savannah Wood dies in fatal Madera County car crash

Fatal Madera County car crash death of Ryley Savannah Wood – Obituary

Ryley Savannah Wood, 21, tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle crash in Madera County on Tuesday.

According to the Madera County Coroner’s Office, Wood was driving a green 1996 Toyota Camry heading southbound on Road 39 ½, just north of Bella Vista Drive, when she veered left and struck a PG&E power pole located on the east shoulder of the road. The vehicle then overturned, landing on its left side.

Wood, who was wearing her seatbelt at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
