Augusta, GA Man Levaun Green Jr. Arrested in Richmond County for Deadly Apartment Shooting

AUGUSTA, GA — Levaun Green Jr., a 25-year-old resident of Augusta, was arrested Thursday in Thomson, Georgia, in connection with a deadly shooting at the Landings at 237 on Wrightsboro Road that occurred on June 2, 2025.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, Green was taken into custody on June 12, 2025, after investigators located and interviewed him. He faces charges of Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the Thomson Police Department in locating Green.

Green was transported to the Richmond County Detention Center and is currently facing charges related to the incident. The investigation remains active, and officials ask anyone with information to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Division.
