Fatal San Antonio car crash death of Martin Ramirez Trejo – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed that 27-year-old Martin Ramirez Trejo lost his life in a devastating head-on collision on the West Side of San Antonio.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. on June 9, 2025, along Historic Old Highway 90 close to South Callaghan Road. According to police, a maroon pickup truck traveling southbound veered into the opposite lane, resulting in a head-on crash.

Martin Ramirez Trejo, who was driving the maroon pickup, was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma. A female passenger in his vehicle sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital for urgent care.

The driver of the other truck involved in the crash was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. However, investigators later determined that intoxication was not a factor in the cause of the accident.
