Fatal Coralville shooting death of Mason Edwards – Obituary

Police in Coralville were called to the Western Hills Mobile Home Court following reports of a disturbance. While officers were en route, dispatchers informed them that shots had been fired. Upon arriving at the location, officers discovered 27-year-old Mason Edwards, a resident of Coralville, suffering from two gunshot wounds to his chest.

Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have launched an investigation, which is ongoing at this time.
