Corey Shaw, 54, has been identified as the man who died following a shooting in South Los Angeles believed by authorities to be gang-related. The incident took place around 10 p.m. on Friday near the intersection of 73rd Street and Broadway.

When officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived on the scene after receiving reports of gunfire, they discovered Shaw with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner officially confirmed Shaw’s identity on Thursday. As of now, no details regarding a suspect have been made available. The investigation remains ongoing.
