Sariah Robinson, 47, was tragically shot and killed in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on June 12, 2025, in what authorities are describing as a domestic violence incident.

Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Woodward Avenue near West Paterson Street at approximately 2:09 p.m., where they discovered Robinson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries later that day.

Witnesses identified the initial suspect as a 55‑year‑old man known to Robinson. Investigators later located him on Lilac Lane, east of South Drake Road.

When officers approached, the suspect attempted to take his own life and was critically injured. His name is being withheld pending formal arraignment, and he remains hospitalized.
