Fatal Chelsea, Maine double homicide death of Christopher Hunnewell and Ty Carter – Obituary
Christopher Hunnewell, 43, and Ty Carter, 22, were discovered fatally wounded on Wednesday evening at a residence on Windsor Road in Chelsea, Maine.
Maine State Police were called to the home around 8:37 p.m. and found both men deceased upon arrival. An investigation is ongoing, and their bodies have been sent to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for autopsies to determine the cause of death.
Authorities have confirmed that a 16‑year‑old suspect is facing murder charges in connection with the case. The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit, including detectives and Evidence Response Technicians, are leading the investigation.
