Zivan Radmanovic, a 32-year-old Australian from Melbourne, was fatally shot during a violent incident at a villa in Bali. Local authorities reported that the shooting occurred on Saturday morning at Villa Casa Santisya, a popular accommodation in the Badung region.
According to Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara, Radmanovic and another Australian man, who was also wounded in the attack, were quickly taken to a hospital in Denpasar, the capital city of Bali province. Despite medical efforts, Radmanovic did not survive his injuries.
At this time, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. Police are actively working the crime scene, gathering evidence, and speaking with potential witnesses to determine what led to the deadly confrontation.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has confirmed it is offering consular support to Radmanovic’s family, and is prepared to assist the second Australian victim as needed. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing.
