Fatal San Antonio flooding death of Christine Gonzales – Obituary

Christine Gonzales, 29, has been named as one of the victims who tragically lost their lives in the devastating floods that struck San Antonio on Thursday. The severe weather event caused widespread damage and swept away multiple vehicles near Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Gonzales’ identity on Saturday morning, along with three other individuals who perished in the same incident: Rudy Garza, Josue Pinadelatorre, and Andrew Sanchez. This brings the official death toll from the flooding to 12.

Authorities had previously identified three other victims on Friday, with efforts continuing to confirm the remaining names. The flooding has left the community in mourning as emergency services work to recover and assess the full impact of the disaster.
