Fatal San Antonio flooding deaths of Christine Gonzales, Rudy Garza, Josue Pinadelatorre, and Andrew Sanchez – Obituary

Four lives were tragically lost in Thursday’s severe flooding in San Antonio, as the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Christine Gonzales, 29; Rudy Garza, 61; Josue Pinadelatorre, 28; and Andrew Sanchez, 60, as victims of the deadly weather event.

The flooding occurred near Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel, where powerful waters swept away vehicles and left widespread devastation. Emergency crews responded to multiple calls for rescues, but despite their efforts, these four individuals were unable to survive the rushing floodwaters.

The confirmed death toll from the storm has now risen to 12. Family, friends, and the San Antonio community are mourning the tragic losses of Gonzales, Garza, Pinadelatorre, and Sanchez. Recovery operations and investigations are ongoing as officials continue to assess the full extent of the damage left behind by the flooding.
