Fatal Modesto car crash death of Gail McKee – Obituary

Gail McKee, a woman struck by a vehicle in Modesto, has died two days after the incident. Authorities reported that McKee was hit by a Kia Optima near the intersection of McHenry and Fairmont Avenues on the night of June 4 at approximately 9:10 p.m.

Emergency responders transported her to the hospital with critical injuries. Despite medical efforts, she passed away on June 6.

The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene, contacted emergency services immediately, and showed no signs of being under the influence. Police say the investigation into the circumstances of the crash is still underway.
