Fatal Clarke County hit-and-run death of Johnny Terrell Burns – Obituary

Johnny Terrell Burns, a 40-year-old resident of Enterprise, Mississippi, was found dead late Friday night after a suspected hit-and-run incident on Highway 513 in Clarke County. According to Sgt. Jemeka Moore of the Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H, authorities received a report around 10:30 p.m. about a person lying on the roadway.

 

A nearby trooper responded and discovered Burns unresponsive at the scene. Emergency medical services arrived shortly afterward and pronounced him dead on site.

 

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information to contact the Mississippi Highway Patrol or local law enforcement.
