Fatal Oconee County car crash death of Knox Howard Kelley – Obituary

Knox Howard Kelley, aged 83, of Seneca, South Carolina, was identified by the Oconee County Coroner’s Office as the victim who died following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday. The crash occurred around 3 p.m. on SC 24 near Theo Martin Road when a 2012 Toyota Corolla traveling east collided with a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer heading west. The impact caused the Chevrolet to veer off the road and overturn.

Kelley, the driver of the Toyota, and the three passengers in the Chevrolet were all transported to a hospital. Kelley succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 8:56 p.m. His death was ruled accidental by the coroner. The investigation into the crash is ongoing under the Oconee County Coroner’s Office. Authorities continue to gather information about the incident.
