Nicholas Guerrero dies in fatal Interstate 40 rollover crash

Fatal Interstate 40 rollover crash death of Nicholas Guerrero – Obituary

Nicholas Guerrero, 51, from Wildomar, lost his life in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 40 early Sunday morning, June 1, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Guerrero’s vehicle left the roadway and flipped several times about two miles before the Essex Road exit on eastbound I-40. Guerrero was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene around 5:42 a.m.

The circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation, with authorities yet to determine if weather conditions or wet pavement played a role. Additional information has not been released as the CHP continues its inquiry into the deadly incident.
