Fatal Millsboro shooting death of Andree’ Mosley Jr.
A fatal shooting early Saturday morning in Millsboro, Delaware, claimed the life of 19-year-old Andree’ Mosley Jr. of Ellendale. Two other individuals were wounded in the same incident, which occurred outside a residence in the 24000 block of Rivers Edge Drive.
Delaware State Police reported that officers responded to the scene shortly after 2 a.m. on June 14. Upon arrival, they discovered Mosley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical assistance, he was pronounced dead at the location.
Two additional male victims were found with gunshot injuries and transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities confirmed their injuries were not life-threatening.
Investigators said Mosley and the other victims had been visiting a woman at the residence who was familiar with both Mosley and the suspected shooter, Marcus Harris. According to police, a dispute between Mosley and the woman escalated, prompting her to ask the men to leave. A confrontation between Mosley and Harris followed, during which Harris allegedly opened fire.
Harris was arrested without resistance at the same residence and has been charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, and three firearm-related felonies. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 3 and is being held on a $480,000 cash-only bond.
The woman involved in the altercation was unharmed.
