Fatal Oak Cliff shooting death of Domonquie Halton
A man who was shot and killed in Oak Cliff last week has been officially identified by Dallas police.
The victim, 28-year-old Domonquie Halton, was found unresponsive by authorities at approximately 4:20 a.m. on June 9 in the 1000 block of Pinnacle Park Boulevard. He was declared dead at the scene.
On Saturday, June 14, law enforcement officers with the U.S. Marshals Task Force apprehended 35-year-old Rolando Garza in connection with the fatal shooting. He was taken into custody and booked into the Dallas County jail on a murder charge.
Garza’s bond has been set at $2 million.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the circumstances that led them to identify Garza as the suspect in Halton’s killing.
