Fatal Fort Mylner shooting death of Everton G. Ralph Jr. – Obituary

Everton G. Ralph Jr., aged 29, was fatally shot on Saturday afternoon inside a red SUV near the KFC in Fort Mylner, St. Thomas. The Virgin Islands Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls reporting the shooting at approximately 1:37 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers and EMTs found Ralph inside the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ralph’s death marks the eighth homicide on St. Thomas and the 16th in the U.S. Virgin Islands so far in 2025. The Major Crimes Unit of the VIPD is leading the ongoing investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
