Michael L. Morey dies in fatal Colville car crash

Fatal Colville car crash death of Michael L. Morey

Michael L. Morey, 79, from Colville, died after a single-vehicle rollover accident on State Route 20 just east of Colville. The crash occurred near mile marker 357 as Morey was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra pickup truck eastbound.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Morey’s truck drifted off the road onto the eastbound shoulder while approaching a right-to-left curve. He then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to cross into the westbound shoulder and begin rolling multiple times. During the rollover, Morey was ejected from the truck.

Authorities confirmed Morey’s death at the scene. The incident remains under investigation by state patrol officials.
