Gastonia, North Carolina Man Logan Taylor Arrested in Gaston County for DUI and Fatal Crash
GASTONIA, N.C. — Logan Taylor, a 21-year-old resident of Huntersville, was arrested in Gaston County in connection with a deadly crash that occurred on Monday night, June 16.
According to Gastonia Police, Taylor was taken into custody Monday night during a traffic stop at the intersection of East Hudson Boulevard and Armstrong Park Road. Authorities say the incident involved Taylor driving a white Dodge Charger, failing to stop at a red light, and crashing into a red Hyundai Elantra driven by Rashonda Greene, 45, of Gastonia, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Taylor was transported to the Gaston County Detention Center and is currently facing charges including driving under the influence, felony death by motor vehicle, failing to stop at a steady red signal, and reckless driving. Police investigation revealed that speed, alcohol, and lack of headlights were contributing factors in the fatal collision.
