Fatal Vancouver car crash death of Gregory Sam Geraci
A 61-year-old man, Gregory Sam Geraci, lost his life after being hit by several vehicles while attempting to cross Highway 14 in Vancouver on the night of June 2.
The Clark County Medical Examiner confirmed that Geraci died as a result of blunt force trauma, and his death has been classified as accidental.
The Washington State Patrol reported that Geraci, whose city of residence remains unknown, was crossing the eastbound side of the highway near Milepost 1 close to the Interstate 5 Bridge at approximately 9:30 p.m. He was moving from the right shoulder toward the center median when he was hit by three vehicles traveling in the left lane.
Geraci was pronounced dead at the scene.
All involved drivers remained on-site and cooperated fully with law enforcement during the investigation. Everyone inside the vehicles was wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.
Authorities found no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement, and no other individuals were harmed in the collision.
