Joseph Lee Muccio dies in fatal Dale County motorcycle crash

Fatal Dale County motorcycle crash death of Joseph Lee Muccio

Joseph Lee Muccio, a 37-year-old man from Dothan, lost his life Monday morning in a collision involving his motorcycle and a commercial truck in Dale County.

According to Alabama State Troopers, the deadly accident occurred at approximately 7:23 a.m. on Dale County 30 near U.S. Highway 231, about two miles south of Ozark.

Muccio was operating a 2009 Kawasaki ZX 1000 Ninja motorcycle when it collided with an International 9900 truck. The truck was being driven by 39-year-old Brian Bernard Anglin.

Following the crash, Muccio was transported to Dale Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal wreck.
