Juan Davalos Hernandez dies in fatal Boulder shooting

Fatal Boulder shooting death of Juan Davalos Hernandez

Authorities have identified the man discovered deceased near Eben G. Fine Park in Boulder as 55-year-old Juan Davalos Hernandez.

Emergency responders were dispatched around 7 p.m. on Saturday to the 200 block of Arapahoe Avenue following a medical emergency call. When officers arrived, they found Hernandez dead in the rear seat of a truck, according to Boulder Police spokesperson Dionne Waugh. The area was secured with police tape, and the Boulder County Coroner’s Office was notified.

Investigators have stated that foul play is not believed to be a factor in Hernandez’s death. The official cause and manner of death will be released following an autopsy conducted by the Boulder County Coroner.
