Nathan Scott Boyd, aged 21, died following a motorcycle crash on Monday evening along Interstate 79 in Washington County, Pennsylvania.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-79 near Exit 40. According to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, Boyd lost control of his motorcycle under unspecified circumstances.

He was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
