Fatal Regina area incident death of Aron Lunan
Authorities are investigating the suspicious death of 35-year-old Aron Lunan, whose body was discovered on Tuesday near Grand Coulee, just west of Regina.
Due to the unusual nature of the situation, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit has taken over the case, labeling the death as suspicious. The Saskatchewan Coroners Service is also aiding in the inquiry.
The deceased has been confirmed as Aron Lunan, a resident of Regina.
Investigators are looking to connect with anyone who may have interacted with Lunan or observed him between the afternoon of Monday, June 9, and the morning of Tuesday, June 10.
Lunan was last spotted in Regina’s North Central area. He was described as standing 5-foot-3, having a lean physique, and brown hair. At the time, he was dressed in a black hoodie adorned with skulls and grey flames, black sweatpants featuring praying hands, and a green jacket with a white sticker on the left chest area.
He was also known to ride a black Supercycle bicycle, which is currently missing. The bike’s front forks are painted white, and “Fox” is handwritten on the front suspension fork, police added.
