Fatal Ventura walking accident death of Jasmineliney C. Rosales
Jasmineliney C. Rosales, 35, a resident of Ventura, was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking near the intersection of Olivas Park Drive and Seaborg Avenue on the evening of June 12.
According to Ventura authorities, a two-vehicle collision occurred behind Rosales at approximately 8:55 p.m., and one of the cars involved hit her during the crash.
She was transported to Ventura County Medical Center but later succumbed to multiple blunt-force injuries sustained in the incident.
The drivers involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. One driver suffered a minor head injury and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
