Fatal Palmdale shooting death of Keizawn Randall

Keizawn Randall, a 31-year-old man, was found dead from a gunshot wound late Sunday night in Palmdale, authorities confirmed Monday.

The incident happened around 10:40 p.m. on the 1200 block of East Avenue S. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of an assault involving a deadly weapon and discovered Randall suffering from a gunshot injury.

Personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived at the scene but were unable to save him. Randall was pronounced dead at the location.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner officially identified the victim as Keizawn Randall on Monday.

Investigators have detained one individual for questioning in connection to the shooting, though no motive has been released.
