Fatal Magnolia motorcycle crash death of Paul Ridenour

Paul Ridenour, a 46-year-old man from Felton, was killed in a motorcycle accident on the evening of June 16 in Magnolia, Delaware, authorities confirmed.

Delaware State Police reported that the crash took place around 8:00 p.m. as Ridenour was riding a Kawasaki sportbike north on Walnut Shade Road, nearing the intersection with Douglas Fir Road. At that moment, a Toyota Camry that had been stopped at the stop sign on Douglas Fir Road began turning left to head south on Walnut Shade Road.

As the Toyota entered the intersection, the Kawasaki struck the front of the vehicle. The impact ejected Ridenour from the motorcycle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Toyota driver, a 30-year-old man also from Felton, did not sustain any injuries in the crash.

The accident prompted a four-hour closure of Walnut Shade Road while the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit conducted their investigation and cleared the area.
