Jeffrey Allen dies in fatal Goldsboro shooting
Fatal Goldsboro shooting death of Jeffrey Allen
Jeffrey Allen, 58, of Goldsboro, died Tuesday night after being shot at a motel in Goldsboro, North Carolina. According to police reports, officers responded to a shooting call at the Lodge Inn located at 2306 Norwood Avenue around 10:26 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Allen suffering from gunshot wounds and rushed him to UNC Health Wayne, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Following the investigation, Goldsboro police arrested two suspects in connection with the homicide. Pamela Owens, 50, and Mark Gant, 34, were both charged with murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied property causing serious injury. Gant was already detained on unrelated charges at Wayne County Jail when he was served with the murder warrant. Owens was taken into custody by the Goldsboro Police Department. Both are being held without bond.
